CMIT Assistant Director Inspection Jobs 2026 — 40 Vacancies at Rs. 115,000/Month
The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), on behalf of the Chief Minister's Inspection Team (CMIT), has announced 40 vacancies across four specialized Assistant Director Inspection posts — Technical, General, Medical, and Financial Matters — under Advertisement No. 08/2026 published on 18 August 2026. Each role carries an attractive monthly pay package of Rs. 115,000, on a lump sum contract basis for 2 years, extendable subject to good performance. 1. Assistant Director Inspection (Technical) — 6 Vacancies
- Qualification: BSc. Civil Engineering or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university, with a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) License

- Qualification: MBBS with Master in Public Health or equivalent, valid PM&DC registration required
- Experience: 2 years in hospital administration or quality assurance, with familiarity in healthcare laws/regulations (MSDS, infection control, patient safety, waste management) and experience in assessments, complaints redressal, audits, or inspections
- Age Limit: Male 25–35 (+5) = up to 40; Female 25–35 (+8) = up to 43

- Qualification: Master's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (Finance major), or CA Qualified, from a recognized university/institution
- Experience: 2 years post-qualification in a leadership/senior management role in public or corporate finance, with proven experience in budgeting, auditing, and procurement, plus knowledge of Punjab PPRA Rules and government accounting standards
- Age Limit: Male 25–35 (+5) = up to 40; Female 25–35 (+8) = up to 43

Written Test & Selection Process
All four posts follow a one-paper MCQ-type written test of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration, with subject matter tailored to each role (qualification-related questions at 100%, except Financial Matters which focuses on Audit, Accounts & Finance questions). Key selection rules:
- Candidates must obtain at least 40% marks in the written test to qualify
- Qualified candidates are called for interview at a ratio of 1:5 relative to number of posts
- Negative marking applies: 0.25 marks deducted per wrong MCQ answer
- Candidates who pass the written test are called for an MS Office proficiency test at a ratio of 1:20
