KPITB Mobile Application Developer (React Native) Jobs 2026 — Individual Consultant, Peshawar

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) is hiring an Individual Consultant to serve as Mobile Application Developer (React Native) under its ICT Project. Role Overview

The Consultant will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications built on React Native for both Android and iOS, ensuring integration with backend APIs, adherence to security standards, and sustained production performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps from a single React Native codebase
  • Translate wireframes and UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible mobile interfaces
  • Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services — payment gateways, SMS/OTP providers, maps, analytics SDKs
  • Implement secure authentication (OAuth2, JWT, biometric auth) following OWASP Mobile Top 10 practices
  • Build offline-first capability, local storage, caching, and background sync for low-connectivity use
  • Implement push notifications, deep linking, and device feature integration (camera, GPS, sensors)
  • Manage app store build, signing, release, and publication on Google Play Store and Apple App Store
  • Configure CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds (GitHub Actions, Fastlane, App Center) and OTA updates
  • Handle crash reporting, logging, usage analytics, and post-release stability monitoring
  • Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer at assignment close

Eligibility

  • Education: 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience as a Mobile Application Developer or similar role, with demonstrated React Native experience
  • Technical Skills: JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native, state management (Redux/Context/Zustand), RESTful API integration, Git, and app store publication experience
  • Gender: Both
