KPITB Technical Team Lead Jobs 2026 — Individual Consultant, Peshawar
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) is hiring an Individual Consultant to serve as Technical Team Lead under its ICT Project. This is a 6-month consultancy engagement, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds, based in Peshawar. Applications close 27 September 2026, 23:59.

Role Overview
The Consultant will lead and coordinate technical teams through the planning, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of ICT and digital transformation solutions — ensuring delivery aligns with approved architecture, quality standards, timelines, and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate technical teams across the planning, development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of ICT and digital transformation solutions
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical requirements, system specifications, workflows, and implementation plans
- Oversee SDLC activities, ensuring adherence to approved architecture, development standards, quality requirements, timelines, and project objectives
- Coordinate application development and integration activities across multiple platforms and stakeholders
- Lead technical reviews, solution design discussions, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and technical risk mitigation
- Coordinate QA, UAT, security testing, deployment, go-live readiness, and post-implementation stabilization activities
- Monitor technical deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and resource utilization, providing regular technical progress reports to project management
- Coordinate with consultants, business users, and government stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and resolution of technical issues
- Support preparation and review of technical specifications, RFP/ToR documents, technical proposals, and other project documentation
- Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, user training, and recommendations for continuous improvement and sustainable system operations
Eligibility
- Education: BS/BE in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution. Preference given to candidates holding PMP, ITIL, or CSM certification.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience as a Team Lead or Project Manager, including ICT, GIS, supply chain systems, mobile/web portals, or digital transformation projects
- Other Requirements: Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and managing end-to-end SDLC activities, with a sound understanding of public sector projects and working environments; good knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and Scrum practices; strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
