PITB Computer Operator, Receptionist & Video Animator Jobs 2026: 7 Contract Roles in Lahore
Not every opening at the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) needs a master's degree and a decade of experience. Seven of the 29 contract positions in advertisement MP009-2026 are support, front-desk and creative roles, and two of them need only intermediate-level education (12 years). This post covers those seven. The technical roles and the programme and project management roles from the same advertisement are covered in separate posts.
The last date to apply for all positions is 4 November 2026, and applications are accepted only online through the Punjab Jobs Portal. For other openings, see our rozgar online jobs page.
Job Snapshot
The advertisement does not state a salary or the number of seats for each role. Roles marked "Multiple Post(s)" have more than one seat, but the count is not published.
Find your role by education level
The PITB table lists education in years. In Pakistan's system, 12 years generally means intermediate, 14 years a two-year bachelor's degree, and 16 years a four-year bachelor's or a master's degree.
12-year roles: for intermediate-level candidates
Computer Operator (Multiple Posts)
Education: 12 years | Experience: up to 6 months | Age: 45 | Location: Lahore
The lowest experience bar in the entire advertisement: up to six months. Data entry speed, accuracy in office software and basic computer handling are the skills that usually matter in a role like this. More than one seat is available, which improves your odds compared with a single-post role.
UC Administrator – Lahore
Education: 12 years | Experience: 1 year | Age: 45 | Location: Lahore
The only role in this group whose title names Lahore directly. The advertisement does not explain what "UC" stands for, so read the portal's job description before applying and make sure the work matches what you have done before. One year of experience is required.
14-year roles: for graduates
Customer Support Representative
Education: 14 years | Experience: 1 year | Age: 45 | Location: Lahore
A front-line communication role: answering queries, logging issues and following up until they are resolved. One year of work in a call centre, helpdesk or service desk is the natural background. Clear written and spoken communication is the whole job.

Receptionist
Education: 14 years | Experience: 1 year | Age: 45 | Location: Lahore
The face of an organisation's front desk. Presentation, politeness, handling visitors and calls, and basic office software are the usual expectations. Your experience letter should name the office where you worked and for how long.
16-year roles: operations and creative
Machine Operator
Education: 16 years | Experience: 2 years | Age: 45 | Location: Lahore
This one stands out. The advertisement pairs the title "Machine Operator" with 16 years of education, which is higher than you might expect for an operator role. The listing is reported here exactly as printed. Read the portal's full description before applying, because it should clarify what kind of machine and what technical background are meant.
Video Animator
Education: 16 years | Experience: 3 years | Age: 45 | Location: Lahore
A creative post for someone who turns ideas into motion graphics or animated video. Three years of experience means a showreel matters more than a certificate: have a short, current sample reel on a link you can paste in, plus a list of the software you are comfortable with.
Video Animator / Photographer
Education: 16 years | Experience: 3 years | Age: 45 | Location: Lahore
A two-in-one position: animation plus photography. The combination suggests PITB wants one person who can shoot as well as edit and animate. If you have both skills, this is the more specific match; if your strength is animation alone, the plain Video Animator post is closer.

Common mistakes to avoid
- Applying above or below your education level. Each role states a fixed number of years of education, so check yours first and then pick the matching role, not the other way round.
- Vague experience letters. Experience is stated in months or years for every role here. A letter that gives your job title, employer and exact dates is easier to verify than a general reference.
- Missing the age cap. All seven roles list a maximum age of 45 years, and any relaxation follows the Government of the Punjab's notification, so check it before you spend time on an application.
How to apply
- Go to the Punjab Jobs Portal (jobs.punjab.gov.pk) and look for the PITB advertisement, code MP009-2026.
- Read the detailed eligibility and job description for your role.
- Submit your application online before 4 November 2026.
PITB will not accept applications by email, fax, post, courier, in person or walk-in.
Conditions from the advertisement
- Candidates already working in government or semi-government service must apply through proper channel.
- Quotas for females, persons with disabilities and minorities, and age relaxation, follow Government of the Punjab rules.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called, and no TA/DA will be paid.
- PITB may reject any application without giving a reason, and may take action against candidates with any criminal record.
Preparing your application
Scan your CNIC, certificates and experience letters before you open the form, and keep file sizes small so uploads do not fail on a slow connection. Applicants for creative roles should have a portfolio link ready.
We verify every listing before publishing, but please confirm the final details on the official portal in case PITB issues a correction.
