NCCIA Announces Sub Inspector & Assistant Sub-Inspector Jobs 2026 — Apply by September 14

The National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), operating under the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, has launched a nationwide recruitment drive to fill 84 posts across Sub Inspector (BS-14) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (BS-09) cadres. NCCIA is Pakistan's dedicated agency for combating cyber threats, digital forensics, and online financial crime, having taken over this mandate from the FIA's Cybercrime Wing. The original deadline of September 7 has been extended to September 14, 2026, following an announcement by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

Both roles fall under NCCIA's investigative/field cadre and share the same physical and endurance testing requirements, setting them apart from the agency's technical and clerical posts.

  • Qualification: 2nd Class or Grade "C" Bachelor's Degree / post-Intermediate Associate Degree, or a BS (4-year) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Digital Forensics, Telecom/Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or an equivalent HEC-recognized qualification

2. Assistant Sub-Inspector (BS-09) — 36 Posts

A broader-qualification entry point into the investigative cadre, open to general Bachelor's degree holders rather than requiring a technical background.

  • Age: 18–25 years
  • Physical requirements: Height — 5 ft 6 in (men), 5 ft 2 in (women)

Both posts require candidates to clear a Physical and Endurance Test before proceeding to the Computer Based Test (CBT):

  • A 1-mile (1.6 km) run, with a qualifying time of 7 minutes for men and 10 minutes for women
  • Physical measurements of height and chest, matching the minimums listed above

Only candidates who meet the physical standards and clear the endurance test move on to the CBT stage.
