NCCIA Announces Technical Assistant, Stenotypist & UDC Jobs 2026 — Apply by September 14

The National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, is recruiting for 29 posts across three desk-based support roles: Technical Assistant, Stenotypist, and Upper Division Clerk (UDC). Unlike the agency's investigative cadre, none of these positions require physical measurements or an endurance test — selection is based purely on academic qualification, relevant experience, and skill testing. The application deadline has been extended to September 14, 2026.

1. Technical Assistant (BS-14) — 15 Posts

A technical support role requiring the same academic background as Sub Inspector, but with post-qualification experience instead of a physical test.

  • Qualification: 2nd Class or Grade "C" Bachelor's Degree / post-Intermediate Associate Degree, or a BS (4-year) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Digital Forensics, Telecom/Electrical Engineering, or Data Science from an HEC-recognized university
  • Experience: 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Age: 18–25 years
  • Provincial quota: Merit 1, Punjab 6 (+1 woman), Sindh Rural 2, Sindh Urban 1, KPK 2, Balochistan 1, Ex-FATA 1
  • Note: Selected candidates must qualify the mandatory NITB (National Information Technology Board) IT training course before completing probation

2. Stenotypist (BS-14) — 8 Posts

A shorthand and typing-focused clerical role.

  • Qualification: Intermediate
  • Skills required: Minimum shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m. and typing speed of 40 w.p.m.; must be computer literate
  • Age: 18–25 years
  • Provincial quota: Merit 1, Punjab 3, Sindh Rural 1, Sindh Urban 1, KPK 1, Balochistan 1

3. Upper Division Clerk / UDC (BS-11) — 6 Posts

An entry-level clerical role open to Intermediate-qualified candidates.

  • Qualification: Intermediate
  • Age: 18–25 years
  • Provincial quota: Merit 1, Punjab 3, Sindh Rural 1, KPK 1
  • Note: Selected candidates must undertake a 3-week IT Basic Training Course (including MS Office), conducted by NITB, within one year of appointment

  1. Apply online through the National Police Foundation – Testing and Assessment Service (NPFTAS) portal at www.npftas.pk
  2. Pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 2,000 per post via 1Link-1Bill (Bank/ATM/Internet Banking/EasyPaisa/JazzCash/UPaisa), using the 22-digit PSID from your fee challan
  3. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications and pay separate fees for each
  4. No hand-delivered, courier, or offline applications will be accepted
  5. Government employees must apply through proper channel and produce an NOC at the interview stage
  6. Last date to apply: September 14, 2026

Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in Pakistan. Original documents and attested copies are required at the interview stage; providing false information is a criminal offense under Sections 420/468/471 of the Pakistan Penal Code, punishable by up to 7 years' imprisonment.
